CHOCOLATE MARZIPAN VEGAN RUM TRUFFLES

Makes 20 truffles.

INGREDIENTS:

3 ounces marzipan
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp shredded coconut
1/2 tsp rum

Assembly:
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the cocoa powder, marzipan, and rum. Knead all the ingredients with your hands until mixed evenly.
Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
Using a spoon, scoop out small bits of the mixture and shape them into balls.
Put the shredded coconut until covered completely.
Store in a dry, airtight container until serving.

TIP: This recipe is vegan-friendly and gluten-free, so it's a treat that anybody can enjoy, guild-free. If you want more chocolate on your truffles, you can roll the balls in cocoa powder instead of coconut.
